I work with children (5+), adolescents (families) and adults. Children often exhibit behaviors such as outbursts, meltdowns or withdrawal that indicate their cry for help. Pre-teens, teens and adults will often exhibit signs of depression and anxiety or even physical symptoms such as stomach aches, headaches, sleep disturbances or other health concerns that are often a sign of their internal struggles. No matter the age I believe all can benefit from mental health services. I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and use this belief to guide the therapeutic process to meet your unique needs.
I specialize in trauma (as well as depression and anxiety) using a variety of approaches such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness therapies and skills training. I am also trained in EMDR, a process which helps individuals process trauma and negative self talk to help alleviate symptoms. I am also trained in play therapy and sand tray.
If you think you could benefit from my services I invite you to contact me and ask for a free 15 minute consultation appointment to determine if I am the right fit for you or your child. When working with very young children I like to alternate child sessions, with parenting/caregiver sessions, I have found that this helps accelerate progress.

With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges that come with major life transitions, unhealthy relationships, and family conflict.
My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy should focus not on past mistakes, but on the empowered choices you can make moving forward. While your past matters, your future holds greater significance—and together, we’ll work to make it one you're proud of.My style is practical, collaborative, and skills-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns. You can expect to leave each session with tools you can use right away to manage stress and build resilience in your daily life.
Taking the first step into therapy is a powerful decision—congratulations on beginning this journey. I'm looking forward to speaking with you about your goals and seeing if we’re a good fit. If you’re interested in working together, please don’t hesitate to email me. My online calendar isn’t always up to date, so feel free to email me

My ideal client is someone who is open to exploring new perspectives and willing to use their unique strengths as part of their growth process. I work with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including self-esteem challenges, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and grief or loss. My clients are curious about understanding themselves more deeply and recognize that personal growth can create positive change across many areas of their lives.
My approach is collaborative, strength-based and person-centered, combining evidence-based practices with warmth, empathy, and genuine connection to help you more toward balance, confidence, and overall well-being. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build effective coping skills, and develop tools to creating lasting change.
My goal is to create a warm, comfortable space where you can be yourself and feel truly heard. If you're ready to start your therapy journey, I'd love to connect.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy, blending practical tools with deeper exploration so you not only understand your patterns but learn how to change them. Your voice matters in the process — we work together.
I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety that feels overwhelming or exhausting. If you’re stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-criticism, or painful memories, you’re not alone. Together, we focus on building healthier coping skills, improving self-regulation, and shifting negative self-talk so you can experience more clarity and peace of mind.
You don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I’m here to help you understand what’s happening, identify your triggers, and develop the confidence to respond differently.

Many of us struggle with various issues throughout our lives, but no one should struggle alone. One of the bravest things you can do is ask for help and my goal is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to receive the help they seek. Within this space, we will explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We will also work to develop effective coping and problem-solving skills to promote personal well-being and to help you become the person you strive to be.
I utilize techniques from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and believe in a strengths-based approach. I have personal experience with anxiety, depression, and being a child of divorce. I strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and religions.

Hi, I’m Angelique James, and I’m passionate about helping individuals and families create meaningful change in their lives. As a Resident in Counseling (LPC-R), I specialize in guiding clients through life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and play therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. My approach is grounded in understanding the emotional patterns that influence thoughts and behaviors, empowering you to build healthier relationships—with yourself and others.
Therapy isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and work toward creating a life that aligns with your goals and values. Change is always possible, and I’m here to help you take the first step.
I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate their challenges, improve their well-being, and achieve personal growth. I work with clients with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, social skills, life transitions, and relationships.
I offer an approach that combines principles from ACT, humanistic, and existential therapy, tailored to fit your specific needs. Central to my therapeutic orientation is the belief that people have the capacity for self-awareness and choice. I want to help you make meaningful choices to live a more fulfilling life and build skills along the way.
It can be challenging to navigate what you’re going through on your own. It takes courage to seek help. Therapy can be one of the best investments you make in yourself or your loved one. It is a collaborative process, and I aim to provide a supportive environment so you can be yourself, open up, and grow. If you are ready, I'm here to help.

I offer a grounded, practical approach to therapy that helps people make sense of what they are experiencing and regain a sense of stability and control in their lives. My work focuses on understanding how stress, trauma, and prolonged pressure affect the mind and body, and on helping clients develop skills that actually translate into daily life.
I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or worn down by experiences they have carried for too long. This includes people navigating anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, moral injury, and major life transitions, as well as those who are struggling to stay present in their relationships, work, or sense of purpose.
In therapy, I help clients understand their reactions rather than fight them, build emotional regulation and resilience, and reconnect with their internal sense of safety and agency. Sessions are collaborative and structured, with an emphasis on insight, practical tools, and steady progress rather than endless processing.
While my background includes working with first responders, military members, veterans, and others from high-stress professions, my approach is effective for anyone who wants a thoughtful, respectful, and results-oriented therapeutic experience. Whether stress comes from work, family, loss, trauma, or the cumulative weight of life, therapy can help create clarity and movement forward.
My goal is not to change who you are, but to help you function with more ease, awareness, and confidence, so you can engage with your life in a way that feels grounded, sustainable, and authentic.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, providing a supportive, person-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
My goal is to help you identify, process, and regulate your emotions so you can respond to life’s challenges with intention rather than react automatically. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that have shaped you while building practical tools to support lasting growth and healing.
My clinical interests include trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. I believe that every emotion has a purpose and can provide valuable insight into the areas of our lives that need compassion and healing.
I often describe therapy as taking a road trip—you are in the driver’s seat, and I am the passenger beside you, offering guidance, asking questions, and helping you navigate the path toward the life you want to create.
